It wasn't that hard to see. You lost a little detail, you had the color the lenses cast over everything, but it wasn't bad.
"No worse than having hair in your eyes," was how he explained it to Reno.
"Like you'd know," Reno scoffed, but let it go.
It did make it hard to navigate in a dark room, but someone his size didn't sneak around in shadows. The glasses shielded him from Midgar's neon, from the flash of spells, and from having opponents read his eyes, which all applied at night. And, he liked to think, they looked cool.
