"Ranma, you PERVERT!" It'd happened before, but this time, instead of her fiance's jaw, her fist hit... the palm of his hand.

"Akane, will you just listen to me for a second?" Since she looked too stunned to stop him, he went on. "P-chan is Ryoga, and you've been sleeping with him for, what, a year? That's why I'm in your room and that's why I don't like your pet, because he's really that loser." No response. "And while I got your attention, it's not my fault Shampoo always hugs me and there's nothing I can do about it since I don't hit girls! So could you just lay off?" Still no response. "And your cooking--"

"That has nothing to do with this, Ranma!" He braced himself, but she didn't attack. "Since you already knocked out my pet--"

"Ryoga--"

"Since you already knocked out P-chan the only thing to do is for you to get some hot water and then I'll decide if I believe you or not!"

He blinked at her, then shot out the door. "And get an extra pair of pants, too!" she added. "I'm not saying I believe you, but just in case!"
