Title: Last Dance
Fandom: Trigun
Characters: Millie and Wolfwood
Length: 100 words
****
"Nobody died! Time to celebrate," he'd said. Besides, we'd caught up to him and Mr. Vash. More reason to celebrate.
When the record started he grabbed my hand. It was more like lurching than waltzing, but we were both laughing too much to care until the music ended.
"Guess that's the last dance, honey."
I giggled. "You never take me out dancing since we had the babies." Meryl shook her head, smiling.
The next day was the typhoon, and everything that happened in the floating city. After that we started toward Keybas.
So that night really was our last dance.
