lirillithI didn't start playing MMORPGs until well after I was done writing for .hack, sadly.

"I'll be right back," she says, then takes off the visor and goes to answer the door. When she returns, he's sitting down, waiting. "What's it look like, when I'm away from the keyboard?" she asks.
"You just freeze. Nothing too strange."
"Can we take a short break?"
"Sure. Something wrong?"
"I need to eat."
She can tell when he sounds amused. "Two weeks ago, you weren't sure about sticking around past the free trial. Now you don't sign off to eat."
"As if I need to. It's Chinese takeout."
"Instant ramen, here," he says, and she grins to herself.
